Hi Moosie Goose!

More often than not, Lucy has to be woken up from her naps--she only takes 2 naps per day, much, much less than Maddie was taking at her age, but Lucy sleeps a long time.  She goes down every day at 12:30, same time as Maddie (Engineering a common nap time was JOB ONE on maternity leave.  And I got it running like clockwork just in time to go back to work!), and she'll sleep right up until 4pm, when Maddie and I go in to wake her up.  Some days she wakes up on her own in the morning, but other days Maddie and I also wake her up then.  Maddie gets really excited about it, and as soon as we walk in the room she says, "Hiiiiiiii Moosie GOOSE!"  And then goes right in her crib with her.  It is the funniest thing.  Anyways, this is the explanation behind the title of this post, dedicated to some new pics of the Moose.  By the way, Lucy is now officially answers to "Moose" 100% of the time, and "Lucy" about 70% of the time...I try to call her Lucy, but that Maddie keeps steering me in the wrong direction!  By the way I have been trying all day to upload 3 videos I practically killed myself to take (A slight stretch.  But getting either one of those girls to do any of their fun new tricks on video is not easy.).  And for whatever reason they just won't load, so I'm working on it!

Lucy is delighted to let all of her fans know that she has found her feet, and that she is quite fond of them.

I enjoy long walks on the beach, good conversation, Shakespearean sonnets, and my jumpy seat.

90% of the photos I take of Lucy are taken between 4:30am and 6am, our "special time" as she likes to call it.  She confided in me this morning that she wakes up early deliberately so that we can have this time to bond.  She says she knows it's hard, but that she hopes I can see that the hard work we're both putting in is really paying off.

Today Lucy was looking especially bright-eyed, because she slept in until 5:30am.  I was actually really excited about this!

This is the first of 5 shots from an early morning photo shoot earlier this week.  For this shot I told her to "give me 'happy baby'," and as you see, she really delivered.  Obviously all those episodes of America's Next Top Model I watched when I had morning sickness really paid off.  You can thank me later, Moose!

Looking so much like Maddie, here!

And looking just like Scott here!  She's a chameleon, our Lucy.

Aaaannnddd we're back to looking like Maddie in this one:)

She really is just the cutest thing you've ever, ever seen.  I promise!
